What Search Engine do you use?
#1
Similar to the browser thread.Rolleyes Though probably useless as Google has a little bit over 80% market share in this area. They track you so they are evil though. Dodgy

Anyways, my default search engine is Duck Duck Go!

Privacy. Some cool features that increase production. Less spam. You can turn off advertisements that sit on the side. And in settings, put Web of Trust next to your results, which is a nice safety factor.

Startpage:https://us2.startpage.com/eng/

The only search engine that does not record your IP address.

And they use Google as there search engine. They use to use Bing, Yahoo, Wikipedia, and a whole host of other search engines. But as recently as I believe last week they started offering Google. They also allow you to search with SSL connection, which means that I can search across an open network and not be snooped on. Oh yeah and the also provide a fairly good proxy that also protects your privacy. Yeah I like'm. On occasion, usually searching for help with Linux, I'll use Bing and Google without any protection, but for everyday browsing I use StartPage.

For my home page I use Bing: Boy I love those pictures, and they provide some great facts for the rest of the day.

Yay Verse! I was hoping I wasn't the only non-googler here. xD
Tried out your startpage thing, not bad Wink

Duckduckgo is also big on privacy. Not sure about the ip address stuff. I'll find out. :D

Edit: Duckduckgo does not store IP's.
Duck also has some nice features. Smile

Post your search engine. :D

I highly doubt that
1) you would post something deletable.
2) RR or Verse deleted it.

There was probably a random error where it didn't post.
