Since a lot of pros weren't impressed by near-christmas competitions & intermediates like whop/shorty were hatin', maybe you should make a post to pull in some beginners.
'no pros here, you have a chance to win.'and maybe mention there won't be anymore different fests in the future, so they know they have to join this one.
The back to back festivals probably made some think it's going to be non-stop spammed events. xO
