Why I want to join the Presidential Bodyguards
I enjoy getting to know people when I play. Over the last 9 months I have met many different types of players. I have found that I enjoy playing with people who are team players, give constructive/educative responses, help maintain order, and play their hearts out. I do enjoy working with players that make me a better player. They may "Tan my hide", but after the bout is through I have often gained an insight that will make me a better player. As I have played with both Zarj, and Ronald Reagan (in order of meeting) I have found that they are players that I can learn from and enjoy playing with. I should note that I haven’t found many clans that have chemistry that both Zarj and Ronald Reagan have. The off game interactions have also had bearing on my submission. I have received invitations to join other clans, but upon research into clan’s website and members, they always seemed to lack in some desirable attribute. When I was researching the Presidential Bodyguards, I found a clan website that was clean and professional. I mustn’t forget to mention that I really like the clan name; it’s both noble and powerful. I discovered that the members weren’t cut throats, but rather preferred a fun well-played game. It is for these reasons that I submit my application to join the Presidential Bodyguards.
My Playing Style
I live for capture the flag. It’s not about the number of people you eliminate, but how many flags your team can accumulate—there is no “i†in team. I greatly enjoy developing and using strategy to penetrate enemy defenses and escape enemy attacks. The emphasis on stealth in capture the flag i.e. at times it is better not shoot so as to avoid detection, is especially appealing. By no means do I dislike conflict though: rarely can I use only stealth to score a flag. My second favorite, and more common, method of operation is strafe running with a shotgun: staying close to walls for cover and ramming anyone one when I round corners. I will generally play other modes as the server continues the rotation. Consequently, I have gained significant experience cooking grenades, knifing and using a scope. My greatest weakness is One Shot One Kill where I seem clumsy, and strafe running is more of hindrance than a help. The rest of the modes I consider myself at least a fair competitor.
Weapon Preferences
My favorite weapon depends mostly upon the map, the route I am taking through that map, and what my opponents are using for weapons. For maps with lots of corridors, take AC Shine for example, I generally use a shotgun. For open maps like AC Douze and AC Keller I generally prefer the submachine gun, although, AC Keller does have two routes that cater to the shotgun.
Map Preferences
I don't have a favorite map, but I do prefer playing on 'new' custom maps.
For the record
I have never joined any other clans, nor have I ever been blacklisted to my knowledge.
