Why I want to join the Presidential Bodyguards
I enjoy getting to know people when I play. Over the last 9 months I have met many different types of players. I have found that I enjoy playing with people who are team players, give constructive/educative responses, help maintain order, and play their hearts out. I do enjoy working with players that make me a better player. They may "Tan my hide", but after the bout is through I have often gained an insight that will make me a better player. As I have played with both Zarj, and Ronald Reagan (in order of meeting) I have found that they are players that I can learn from and enjoy playing with. I should note that I haven’t found many clans that have chemistry that both Zarj and Ronald Reagan have. The off game interactions have also had bearing on my submission. I have received invitations to join other clans, but upon research into clan’s website and members, they always seemed to lack in some desirable attribute. When I was researching the Presidential Bodyguards, I found a clan website that was clean and professional. I mustn’t forget to mention that I really like the clan name; it’s both noble and powerful. I discovered that the members weren’t cut throats, but rather preferred a fun well-played game. It is for these reasons that I submit my application to join the Presidential Bodyguards.

My Playing Style
I live for capture the flag. It’s not about the number of people you eliminate, but how many flags your team can accumulate—there is no “i” in team. I greatly enjoy developing and using strategy to penetrate enemy defenses and escape enemy attacks. The emphasis on stealth in capture the flag i.e. at times it is better not shoot so as to avoid detection, is especially appealing. By no means do I dislike conflict though: rarely can I use only stealth to score a flag. My second favorite, and more common, method of operation is strafe running with a shotgun: staying close to walls for cover and ramming anyone one when I round corners. I will generally play other modes as the server continues the rotation. Consequently, I have gained significant experience cooking grenades, knifing and using a scope. My greatest weakness is One Shot One Kill where I seem clumsy, and strafe running is more of hindrance than a help. The rest of the modes I consider myself at least a fair competitor.

Weapon Preferences
My favorite weapon depends mostly upon the map, the route I am taking through that map, and what my opponents are using for weapons. For maps with lots of corridors, take AC Shine for example, I generally use a shotgun. For open maps like AC Douze and AC Keller I generally prefer the submachine gun, although, AC Keller does have two routes that cater to the shotgun.

Map Preferences
I don't have a favorite map, but I do prefer playing on 'new' custom maps.

For the record
I have never joined any other clans, nor have I ever been blacklisted to my knowledge.

To go with the form, I am going to ask to play at least one inter with you before you wear the tag. I am mainly looking at your team chemistry in a smaller setting. I had some very fun pubs with you, but I am very curious about seeing you in a smaller setting. (Note the fact that you are on the team with us, not against us here. It is Team-Play after all :D). I have a feeling Zarj would like one as well.

Because I can't shutup, I'll comment on my observations I had while playing against you in ac_iran (link is in the screenshots section). When you were switched to the other team, I changed my gameplay immensely, I found that I gave myself a nice challenge in blocking all of your attempts at the flag. I must say that in that one passage, the shottys ruled for blocking advancing intruders.

App process at this current time will just me and Zarj talking about it (which we have done a little). We will also be asking you for games and the such. Later on we will be doing the F1 process. You can provide any screenshots you want, this would be helpful.

Feel free to hang out in our IRC irc://gamesurge.net/pbclan. It is just #pbclan on gamesurge. If you do not have a client, feel free to use the one I have provided Here.

Thanks for your positive comments about our website Smile

I have had plenty of fun in this learning process we call making a website. Hence the snow you see while reading this. I dont care if DES|Halo says it looks like dandruff. Its hawt. Sorry to remind you of your backyard.

One last note, I love how much you wrote. That is exactly what an app should look like. It give plenty of your personality. Which was what the describe you question was about. You didn't answer it, nor did you need to.

Sorry this is a bit late. Some things held me up from posting this yestererererday.

This was a short inter I played with verse. To be fair, we were up against a good team. We started out behind, and stayed behind. Near the end when I switched to carbine we started getting more kill/flags. Unfortunately, I believe most of the flags they scored were from my stupidity. I needed to warm up, as it was my first real game of the day. (all pubs were playing douze/desert/noob-maps).
Verse didn't do too bad, however he needs to work on team play. Maybe a couple more games could help. I'll will want to play some more inters. Team play is something that comes with experience. I know I'm still learning.

Your accepted.
You got my F1 which is majority vote around here.
Here are the games that we played:
TKTF ac_desert3: Our pick
This was a very fun game, I'm not saying that because we won by a huge margin, the team work was wonderful, and I really improved my carbine use I believe. Verse did a wonderful job of backing me up, he always got them off of my back when I had low health (and when I had full health). What made me live so long was mainly because of my strong move towards the armour. Verse also knew the full techniques of TKTF I believe.
TOSOK ac_desert: Their pick
We were pretty close this whole game, and we probably would've gotten much closer if I didn't keep doing all of my dumb moves. I made a lot of them, oh well.

All in all, these were very good games, and I am glad to have you as a clan mate.

This was a very engaging game. During one portion specifically, it really felt like we became a team, each fulfilling the goals we need to to succeed. Personally, I enjoyed repeatedly cutting the line of fire between Ronald_Reagan and our worthy opponents. To complement this Ronald_Reagan was very good at disengaging the enemy, when I popped in, to replenish his reserves--go man go. Yes we won, but the most fun was working as a team.

Yes we were, very close the entire game! I would have to say that I did better in this set of TOSOK than in any other set I can remember. I don't know about you, Ronald_Regan, but I made plenty of blunders myself (repeatedly going to run down the stairs and getting sniped by Maj who was just waiting for me). During this session specifically, I felt the need to grow my inter-team/public chat capabilities--including my understanding of the jargon.

Overall I it was a great experience!

Thank you so much! Glad to join the Presidential Bodyguard Clan.

P.S. Sorry to see Zarg leave, as he was my first contact with B} and invited me to join. Zarj, you will be missed.
