Verse, get with the modern times and read A Song of Ice and Fire.
No offense to Dickens, Verne, etc. Wink

Ah I've considered it. I'm not much for fantacy/scifi (Verne excluded). Your palate for Dracula and things of darker ware are most interesting. I don't know if I could ever get through them. The guys at work were saying the same thing...when are you going to read some fiction from the 20th or 21st centuries.... My response is that I have so much to catch up on as there is so much old good stuff out there. I may go for an old Tom Clancy novel here. Anybody out there read Tom Clancy?

The only Tom Clancy book I've read is Rainbow Six, mostly because I've spent hours on the pc game series lol.

I enjoyed it though, so highly recommended.

It's worth the read for non-fantasy fans too. :D
Hence becoming an HBO series.

Ah they made The Little Dorrit into a Miniseries too 8 whole hours, and that's just one book.

Shadz, you mentioned you were going to read East of Eden.

Its long and some of it is hard to read (slightly boring), but I would put it as a good book.

I have heard otherwise, but I think you might like it. There is some great characters in it.

To Kill A Mockingbird.
I was forced to read it in school, I hated it.
Picked it up later and read it on my own, fell in love.
I've read it four more times since then.

Finished East of Eden. I recommend reading it (though it is long, so be warned).
